Pie, I love pies. I love the flaky tender crust especially if its well baked and has this wonderful golden color.
I used to think, making a pie is difficult, time-consuming and hard (like all baking) but recently I discovered few good recipes which make the process easier and quicker. Another thing I learned is that pie comes in many different shapes, not all of them are covered.
Most of the pie recipes I found are more like tarts with a base made of dough (or gluten-free alternative).
